Μεγάλος νικητής το The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Την περασμένη Παρασκευή (17/11) πραγματοποιήθηκε μια ειδική δεξίωση για την ανακοίνωση των φετινών Golden Joystick Awards, στο Bloomsbury Big Top του Λονδίνου. Παιχνίδι της Χρονιάς αναδείχτηκε το The Legend

of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, με το Horizon Zero Dawn και το Persona 5 να έρχεται δεύτερο και τρίτο αντίστοιχα.

Ανάμεσα στους διακριθέντες τίτλους μπορούμε να βρούμε τα Horizon Zero Dawn, για την καλύτερη ιστορία, Playerunknown‘s Battlegrounds, ως το Best Multiplayer Game και The Last of Us Part II, ως πιο επιθυμητό παιχνίδι, ενώ καλύτερο studio ανακηρύχθηκε η Nintendo EPD. Επιπλέον, διακρίθηκε η Ashly Burch για την ερμηνεία της στο Horizon Zero Dawn, στο ρόλο της Aloy. Τέλος, καλύτερο παιχνίδι για το PlayStation 4 ανακηρύχθηκε το Horizon Zero Dawn, για το Xbox One το Cuphead και για το Nintendo Switch το The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
