Θρήνος στην Ινδία… Τουλάχιστον 43 άνθρωποι έχασαν την Κυριακή (08/12) τη ζωή τους από πυρκαγιά που ξέσπασε σε εργοστάσιο στο Νέο Δελχί, σύμφωνα με προσωρινό απολογισμό που έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα η αστυνομία της χώρας.

Η πυρκαγιά ξέσπασε τις πρώτες πρωινές ώρες σε εργοστάσιο που βρίσκεται σε παλιά συνοικία της ινδικής πρωτεύουσας. Εκτός από τους 43 νεκρούς, τουλάχιστον 16 άνθρωποι διακομίστηκαν στο νοσοκομείο, πρόσθεσε η ίδια πηγή.

Περίπου 100 άτομα κοιμόντουσαν μέσα στο εργοστάσιο, που φτιάχνει κυρίως σχολικές τσάντες, ενώ περισσότεροι από 60 διασώθηκαν. Όπως τόνισε ο Πρωθυπουργός της Ινδίας, Ναρέντρα Μόντι, η πυρκαγιά ήταν «τρομακτική» και εξέφρασε τα συλλυπητήρια του.
