Hello from my backyard! I know a lot of people are taking this time to be ‘productive’ but I’m just taking my time to truly recover from the physical, emotional, and mental toll of COVID19 + the years of hustling I’ve been doing. For so long, I was ingrained to the idea that it’s cool to always be on and push myself to the max and hustle while boasting about how much I’m working and traveling on social media. For the past several years, I was proud of the fact that I was gone 300 days out of the year until my mental health took a toll. Now, I’m actually enjoying doing nothing or just taking it slow. My nothing consists lots of cooking, staying out in the sun, listening to music and reading a book without feeling guilty of ‘oh I have to work and produce content’ or ‘I need to get back to that email asap.’ I hope all of you guys can be kinder to yourselves.
