I wore this Kandinsky hair weft in my hair at the Behind the Chair show last year and @marybehindthechair was petting it while we chatted, lol. I love this painting so much I also just bought a giant rug with this design on it for the lobby of my salon. Painting this was one of my favorite projects this last year, but I'm working on some new ones that are pretty fun, too. How bout some pop art in your hair? Some people think that Roy Lichtenstein unfairly appropriated and profited from comic book artists, while others say he brought attention to comics as an art form and elevated it. It gets even more meta when you take into account that I am now appropriating it for weird hair projects.
