MTN – IT Analyst (Wholesale)

The successful candidate will be responsible of all Wholesale billing tasks and operations. He/She have to follow a set of procedures and instructions with proper logging and reporting and will be responsible for carrying out work under precise & clear instructions (daily or night tasks) by the responsible Manager.

Responsibilities:

Identify any problem in the Wholesale

billing system, solve routine problems and refer unusual problems/trends to the supervisor as appropriate.
Plan & conduct actions as preventive maintenance schedules in order to reduce technical incidents affecting the Wholesale billing business.
Input Wholesale billing data into specialized systems (Data warehouse) and maintain records in order to ensure that records meet both internal and external Wholesale billing reporting requirements and follow up on those Data warehousing operations.
Support Wholesale billing projects (i.e. reports, automation using small and simple scripts) by providing information and delivering specific actions when requested.
Complete all internal and external Wholesale billing training required and provided by the Wholesale billing supplier, consultant or internal instructor, to advance in area Wholesale billing operations and monitoring.
Complete all Wholesale billing tasks and duties in accordance with the appropriate set of procedures and guidelines and identify opportunities for process improvement where possible.
Check and close Wholesale billing help desk tickets whenever possible.
Log all tasks performed on corresponding log sheets.
Assist in Printing, sorting, and mailing of monthly Wholesale billing invoices when necessary.
Assist in generating daily or weekly reports.
Check Wholesale billing alarms and report any malfunction to the supervisor.
Perform revenue assurance test scenarios for Wholesale operations.
Check invoices after every Wholesale billing run.
Complete scheduled operation batch jobs on time.
Check running processes and their corresponding logs and take actions as per corresponding procedures.
Experience/Knowledge:

Graduate degree in Computer Science
2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in an IT Field
Good financial knowledge with a natural feel for numbers.
Understanding order management, provisioning, billing and service level support.
Very good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, Shell scripting.
Excellent analytical skills
Very good knowledge of English and Greek
