Με προβληματισμό υποδέχθηκαν τα δυσάρεστα νέα οι τενίστες

Σε πολύ αμήχανη κατάσταση βρίσκονται οι τενίστες που έχουν ήδη κατακλύσει τις εγκαταστάσεις του Indian Wells Tennis Garden και πραγματοποιούσαν τις τελευταίες προπονήσεις, πριν την έναρξη του BNP Paribas Open.

Η είδηση της ακύρωσης του σπουδαίου combined τουρνουά, προκάλεσε έκπληξη στους αθλητές και μια από τις πρώτες

αντιδράσεις ήταν αυτή του Ράφαελ Ναδάλ, μέσω twitter.

“Πιθανότατα ακούσατε τα νέα. Το Indian Wells ακυρώθηκε. Είμαστε ακόμα εδώ και περιμένουμε τις εξελίξεις. Είμαι πολύ λυπημένος με ότι συμβαίνει σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο. Ελπίζω σύντομα να βρεθεί μια λύσει από τις αρχές. Να είστε όλοι καλά και υγιείς” ήταν το μήνυμα του Ράφα ο οποίος την ημέρα που οι διοργανωτές ανακοίνωσαν την ακύρωση της διοργάνωσης, προπονήθηκε στο κεντρικό court με τον Φίλιξ Οζέρ Αλιασίμ.

Doesn’t bode well for the tour if IW cancelled for 1 confirmed case in Coachella Valley. Broward county (Miami Open home) has more confirmed cases. Monte Carlo borders northern Italy currently in lockdown. Rome Masters? French Open? Wimbledon?!!!
