Τούρτες έργα τέχνης!

Μία δημιουργική ιδέα είχε μία άκρως ταλαντούχα καλλιτέχνης, η οποία δημιουργεί τούρτες σκέτα έργα τέχνης!

Η Λέσλι Βίτζιλ έχει τον τρόπο της με τον φούρνο. Τις δημιουργίες τής ζαχαροπλαστικής κοσμεί με ζώα του δάσους, κάκτους, σχήματα χιονοκρυστάλλων.

Στην πιο πρόσφατη, ιδιαίτερα πολύχρωμη «κολεξιόν» της, η Λέσλι Βίτζιλ έχει κατακτήσει την τέχνη του κεντήματος, χρησιμοποιώντας γλασάρισμα για να φιλοτεχνήσει ανθοσυνθέσεις με «βελονάκι».

Οι νέες της δημιουργίες  -υπό τον τίτλο«Ταπισερί»-, η, με έδρα τη νότια Καλιφόρνια, ταλαντούχα καλλιτέχνης,  φιλοτεχνεί διακόσμηση

που θυμίζει τα κεντημένα σε λαϊκές φορεσιές μεξικανικά μοτίβα ή παραπέμπει στις τεχνικές ρωσικού λαϊκού κεντήματος.

Το χόμπι που έγινε επάγγελμα

Η σημερινή δουλειά της Λέσλι, ξεκίνησε ως χόμπι όταν παιδί ακόμα, έφτιαχνε τούρτες με τη μητέρα της. Εντυπωσιασμένη με τη διακόσμηση που επιτύγχανε, άρχισε να μελετά βιβλία μαγειρικής-ζαχαροπλαστικής. Αυτή η διαδρομή μετέτρεψε το χόμπι σε επάγγελμα.

Παρακολούθησε μαθήματα στην περίφημη σχολή μαγειρικής «Le Gordon Bleu», στο Παρίσι, όπου παρακολουθούσε τους καθηγητές της να δημιουργούν απίστευτες τούρτες, πραγματικά γλυπτά από σοκολάτα, buttercream (μίγμα βουτύρου και γλάσου), φοντάν και ζάχαρη.

Τώρα, συμμετέχει σε ένα ζαχαροπλαστείο στην Καλιφόρνια και, παράλληλα, διοργανώνει εργαστήρια όπου διδάσκει τις τεχνικές της.
