To Disney World είναι γνωστό ότι δεν κλείνει σχεδόν ποτέ τις πόρτες του.

Ωστόσο, ο τυφώνας Μάθιου που «χτύπησε» τις ΗΠΑ ανάγκασε το θεματικό πάρκο να κλείσει προσωρινά, παρακαλώντας μάλιστα τους επισκέπτες τους να αλλάξουν τα εισιτήριά τους και τις κρατήσεις τους στα ξενοδοχεία.

Αυτό είχε ως αποτέλεσμα το Disney World

να μείνει ερειπωμένο, έστω και για λίγες ώρες, με τις φωτογραφίες που ανέβηκαν στα social media να κάνουν τον γύρο του κόσμου.

Spent my last day in Disney at Epcot and left before Hurricane Matthew hit! It's been a magical week!

Cleared all of Hollywood Studios in under 45 minutes. Getting the park "hurricane ready" was probably the most fun I've had at work in a long time, but walking out with no one in sight, no music to be heard, and sand bags guarding every door in hopes to keep Matthew out, made me realize how serious this storm could get.
