DBS maintains a Quality Management System, assessed and registered against BS EN ISO 9001:2008 standards. The job is based in Limassol.Major DutiesThe Quality Officer will have the following responsibilities:Development of procedures and reports as per ISO 9001:2008, 17020:1998 and 19011:2002 as well as IACS procedures.Assistance in the development of relevant class and statutory procedures and reports.Complete and submit accurate reports on the current level of compliance or corrective actions.Minimum QualificationsA degree or equivalent qualifications from a tertiary institution recognized within a relevant field of engineering or physical science (minimum three years programme) such as Naval Architect or Marine Engineer or relevant qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant sea-going experience as a certified ship officer.Computer literatePresentation skills and expertiseExcellent command of the English languageOrganizational skillsAbility to adhere to deadlinesPrevious experience of marine classification and statutory certification commensurate with practical experience of construction, surveys or plan approval will be considered advantageous.Conditions of EmploymentSalary and benefits package will be offered, commensurate with the successful candidates’ knowledge and experience.How to ApplyPlease send your current CV and covering letter to the attention of [email protected], Dimitris Lemesianos.
