Η Έμιλι Ραταϊκόφσκι με χειροπέδες: Ο λόγος που τη συνέλαβαν… (ΕΙΚΟΝΕΣ)

Σε διαδήλωση ενάντια στον υποψήφιο για το Ανώτατο Δικαστήριο, Μπρετ Κάβανο, βρέθηκε η Έμιλι Ραταϊκόφσκι.Μαζί με την ηθοποιό Έιμι Σούμερ διαμαρτυρήθηκαν ενάντια στον υποψήφιο και συνελήφθησαν μαζί με 300 άτομα.

Η ίδια ανέφερε μεταξύ άλλων πως: «Αυτή η υποψηφιότητα είναι ένα μήνυμα προς τις γυναίκες της χώρας… ότι δεν έχουν καμία σημασία. Ζητώ μία κυβέρνηση που σέβεται και υποστηρίζει τις γυναίκες όσο και τους άνδρες».

Today I was arrested protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, a man who has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault. Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power. Kavanaugh’s confirmation as a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States is a message to women in this country that they do not matter. I demand a government that acknowledges, respects and supports women as much as it does men.
