Μεγάλωσε στο Long Island και ήθελε να γίνει ηθοποιός πριν την εντοπίσουν τυχαία και της προσφέρουν συμβόλαια σε πρακτορεία μοντέλων σε όλες τις πρωτεύουσες μόδας. Είναι Δομινικανής καταγωγής και το χαρακτηριστικό ανδρόγυνο look της πρωταγωνιστεί στις καμπάνιες των Coach, Balmain και Versace.
