What will you be doing?

You will be in charge of the day-to-day management of our accounts and their continuous improvement. This will include, a.o.:

G/L accounting (A-Z), A/P, A/R, G/L reconciliation, analytical accounting, end-of-year closing; Budgeting; Tax compliance (thorough knowledge of Belgian VAT and Intracom); Financial reporting to management (thorough MS Excel skills!; dashboard expertise is an asset); Preparation of annual external audit. You like result-oriented accounting work and all that is related to it; You understand what value and insight accounting can bring to an organisation and, as a service-oriented person with strong interpersonal skills, you like to share your knowledge; You have analytical skills combined with structured thinking and a strong problem solving capability (Yes, you can!); You can work autonomously and are a flexible and highly reliable team player; Your middle name is "Accuracy"; You are very much at ease with standard office IT applications (Microsoft Office) and are willing to learn new applications; You are fluent in either Dutch or French and have a good knowledge (written and spoken) of English, the working language of our federation; You have at least a bachelor Accounting degree and a solid accounting experience, preferably in an international environment.
