PM Tsipras: 'We fought a tough battle to the end...averted the more extreme aims'

Emerging from a gruelling 17-hour summit with other Eurozone leaders on Monday morning, with an agreement that fended off Germany's 'temporary Grexit' plans but not demands that Greece put up 50 billion euros in state assets as 'collateral' into a special fund for privatisation, Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that his government had fought hard and succeeded in averting the "more extreme aims" of Europe's conservative circles.
