H Land Rover ανακατασκευάζει και πουλά 25 Series 1

Το Land Rover Classic τμήμα της βρετανικής εταιρίας θα ανακατασκευάσει πλήρως 25 αυτοκίνητα Series 1 μοντέλα, και έπειτα θα τα πουλήσει με τιμές από £60.000 μέχρι £80.000 (€74.500 μέχρι €99.200).

Όλα τα αυτοκίνητα θα επανέλθουν στην αυθεντική τους εργοστασιακή κατάσταση του 1948, σαν να βγήκαν σήμερα από το εργοστάσιο, με την εταιρία να μην εκμοντερνίζει τίποτα

σε αυτά, όπως για παράδειγμα τις εκπομπές ρύπων και την ασφάλεια τους. Τα αυτοκίνητα-δότες θα συλλεχθούν από διάφορες περιοχές του κόσμου, κάτι που σημαίνει ότι θα υπάρχουν διαθέσιμα τόσο αριστεροτίμονα, όσα και δεξιοτίμονα, με τους πελάτες να μπορούν να επιλέξουν τα υλικά και το χρώμα της επιλογής τους.

Η ανακατασκευή τους θα γίνει στο νέο ειδικό χώρο της Land Rover Classic στο Solihull, δίπλα από την γραμμή παραγωγής του Defender. Η συγκεκριμένη απόφαση έρχεται λίγες εβδομάδες μετά την ανακοίνωση της Jaguar να κατασκευάσει τι εναπομείνασες 9 XKSS με τιμή €1,27 εκατ έκαστη.

Reborn offers 25 prospective customers the unique opportunity to purchase an original and highly collectable Land Rover Series I directly from Land Rover Classic.

Land Rover Classic’s expert team has drawn on decades of experience to hand-pick 25 Series I chassis from Land Rover’s global network. Each model will undergo a complete restoration according to the brand’s original 1948 factory specification and using Land Rover Classic Parts to preserve authenticity. This includes the choice of five period finishes including Light Green, Bronze Green, RAF Blue, Dove Grey and Poppy Red.

Customers will be able to select their preferred base vehicle with the help and guidance of Land Rover Classic’s experienced restoration team, and they will be able to follow the restoration of their cherished Series I from start to finish at Land Rover’s new Classic workshop located within the original Defender production centre at Solihull.
