Ο Ντέιβιντ Μπάουι αποκτά το δικό του δρόμο στο Παρίσι

Ένας δρόμος του Παρισιού σύντομα θα μετονομαστεί σε οδός Ντέιβιντ Μπόουι για να τιμηθεί ο Βρετανός αστέρας της ροκ, ανακοίνωσε ο δήμαρχος δημοτικού διαμερίσματος της γαλλικής πρωτεύουσας.

Τέσσερα χρόνια από τότε που ο απόλυτος χαμαιλέοντας της μουσικής σκηνής έφυγε από την ζωή, δύο ημέρες μετά τα 69α γενέθλιά του, αποκτά τον δικό του δρόμο στο Παρίσι.

Ο Ντέιβιντ Μπάουι θεωρείται ένας από τους πιο πρωτοποριακούς και ταλαντούχους καλλιτέχνες του 20ού αιώνα, καθώς από την αρχή της καριέρας του στη δεκαετία του ’60 γνώρισε την επιτυχία και επηρέασε βαθιά την ποπ κουλτούρα όλα αυτά τα χρόνια.

THE LAST LONDON BOWIE SHOW OF THE 20TH CENTURY “We played our songs and felt the London sky…” As mentioned in our earlier post, David Bowie was in London twenty years ago today (2nd December 1999), for his last London concert of the 20th century, with the now demolished Astoria as the venue of choice. The show followed a signing session at the Virgin Megastore earlier the same day and the Astoria gig was part of a mini tour to promote "hours…". Though filmed for Japanese TV, to the best of our knowledge the show was never broadcast. However, it’s not hard to find a 90-minute time-coded version of the film online. Στη μνήμη του Λευκού Δούκα της ροκ σκηνής ένας δρόμος στο Παρίσι μετονομάζεται Ντέιβιντ Μπόουι.

«Σύντομα θα υπάρξει μια οδός Ντέιβιντ Μπόουι στο 13ο διαμέρισμα του Παρισιού» γνωστοποίησε ο Ζερόμ Κουμέ, δήμαρχος της περιοχής.

Ο δήμαρχος, δήλωσε θαυμαστής του Ντέιβιντ Μπόουι, ο οποίος πέθανε το 2016 και ανακοίνωσε ότι ένας νέος δρόμος κοντά στον κεντρικό σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό της γαλλικής πρωτεύουσας Gare d’ Austerlitz στα νοτιοανατολικά της γαλλικής πρωτεύουσας θα φέρει το όνομα του σπουδαίου μουσικού αστέρα.

Η ονοματοδοσία πρέπει να εγκριθεί από το δημοτικό συμβούλιο του διαμερίσματος του Παρισιού τον Φεβρουάριο, κάτι που όπως δήλωσε ο Κουμέ στο AFP θα συμβεί χωρίς προβλήματα.

«Ο Ντέιβιντ Μπόουι, είχε ισχυρό δεσμό με την Πόλη του Φωτός» πρόσθεσε για τον καλλιτέχνη που αν ζούσε, θα γινόταν 73 ετών στις 8 Ιανουαρίου.
