Στα μαύρα το Χόλιγουντ – Βραδιά Όπρα Γουίνφρεϊ

Μαυροντυμένες εμφανίστηκαν οι σταρ στην τελετή απονομής για τις Χρυσές Σφαίρες σε ένδειξη διαμαρτυρίας για το σκάνδαλο σεξουαλικής κακοποίησης από τον Χάρβεϊ Γουαϊνστάιν.

Αυτή η τελετή ήταν ξεχωριστή καθώς σημειώθηκαν και πολλές πρωτιές ενώ αποδείχθηκε η κυριαρχία της Όπρα Γουίνφρεϊ.

Ο Sterling K. Brownήταν ο πρώτος Αφροαμερικανός ηθοποιός ποτ κέρδισε βραβείο για το τηλεοπτικό δράμα

«This Is Us” και ο Aziz Ansari ήταν ο πρώτος Ασιάτης που κέρδισε Χρυση Σφαίρα ως ο καλύτερος ηθοποιός σε τηλεοπτική κωμωδία με το «Master of None.»

Ο Brown ευχαρίστησε τον δημιουργό της σειράς Dan Fogelman: Έγραψες έναν ρόλο για έναν μαύρο άνδρα που μόνο ένας μαύρος άνδρας μπορεί να παίξει. Εκτιμώ το γεγονός ότι με βλέπουν γι αυτό που είμαι και με εκτιμούν γι αυτό που είμαι κι αυτό κάνει ακόμη δυσκολότερο να με απορρίψουν τόσο εμένα όσο και όποιον μου μοιάζει” επεσήμανε στέλνοντας σαφές μήνυμα σε όσους έχουν διάθεση ρατσιστική ή φυλετική διάκριση ή επίθεση.

Ωστόσο η χθεσινή ήταν η βραδιά της Όπρα Γουίνφρεϊ η οποία είναι η πρώτη Αφροαμερικανή στην οποία απονεμήθηκε το βραβειο για την προσφορά της Cecil B. DeMille Award. Με τον πύρρειο λόγο της η Γουίνφρεϊ ξεσήκωσε το κοινό που την καταχειροκρότησε όρθιο.

«Για πολύ καιρό οι γυναίκες δεν ακούγονταν ή θεωρείτο ότι δεν τολμούσαν να πουν την αλήθεια απέναντι στην εξουσία των ανδρών. Αλλά έφθασε καιρός” είπε η Όπρα.

Το πρώτο βραβείο της βραδιάς πήγε στα χέρια της Νικόλ Κίντμαν για την εξαιρετική ερμηνεία της στη σειρά του HBO «Big Little Lies.»
