Ξεκίνησε η παραγωγή του νέου Suzuki Vitara

Το πρώτο νέο Suzuki Vitara βγήκε από τη γραμμή παραγωγής του εργοστασίου της Ιαπωνικής εταιρίας στη πόλη Esztergom της Ουγγαρίας. Το παρόν στην εκδήλωση έδωσε ο ίδιος ο πρόεδρος και CEO της Suzuki Motor Corporation, Osamu Suzuki

αλλά και ο πρωθυπουργός της Ουγγαρίας Viktor Orban.

Το εργοστάσιο έχει βάλει ως στόχο να κατασκευάσει 70.000 νέα Vitara μέσα στο πρώτο έτος, με την συνολική παραγωγή του εργοστασίου να ανέρχεται στις 165.000 μονάδες. Το Vitara θα εξάγεται αρχικά σε 70 χώρες, ενώ μέχρι το 2018, η Suzuki θέλει να πουλά το Vitara και σε 30 επιπλέον χώρες.

Το νέο Vitara θα είναι διαθέσιμο με δύο κινητήρες, έναν πετρελαίου και έναν βενζίνης, όπου αρχικά θα είναι άμεσα διαθέσιμοι στην Ελλάδα μόνο σε τετρακίνητες εκδόσεις, αλλά από τον Μάιο θα ακολουθήσουν και οι δικίνητες. Από τον ερχόμενο Σεπτέμβρη θα προστεθεί ένα αυτόματο κιβώτιο διπλού συμπλέκτη στην diesel έκδοση, συν ενός ολοκαίνουριου 1.400άρη βενζινοκίνητου turbo κινητήρα με περίπου 160 άλογα, τόσο σε δικίνητη, όσο και σε τετρακίνητη έκδοση.

Στην Ελλάδα ξεκινά από τις €15.560 (με όφελος απόσυρσης) για τη δικίνητη έκδοση 1.6 GL με κινητήρα βενζίνης και φτάνουν τις €24.560 για την πιο πλούσια εξοπλισμένη έκδοση 1.6 GLX με κινητήρα πετρελαίου.

Suzuki VITARA rolls off the line in Hungary

Suzuki Motor Corporation has today held a ceremony for the all-new SUV VITARA as it rolled off the production line of Magyar Suzuki Corporation Ltd., Suzuki’s Hungarian subsidiary.

The ceremony welcomed guests including Dr. Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary, and Junicihi Kosuge, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary. Osamu Suzuki, Chairman and CEO of Suzuki Motor Corporation attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Chairman Suzuki said, “Since its establishment in April 1991, Magyar Suzuki has produced eight models including the Swift and the Splash, and the accumulated production unit reached 2.5 million units last year. Suzuki places Magyar Suzuki as a significant strategic hub, and will continuously expand its production.”

The all-new SUV VITARA is a whole new compact SUV, which has evolved in every aspect such as driving, safety, and environmental performances, and design, while inheriting qualification as genuine four-wheel-drive vehicle and SUV derived from JIMNY and VITARA. It has not only pursued excellent driving performance, but has been developed as a car that can reflect the user’s lifestyle.

The all-new SUV VITARA will be delivered from Magyar Suzuki not only to European countries but also several new markets, and is planned to be produced 70,000 units in its first year of manufacturing.
