Η Rolls-Royce ανακοίνωσε πως η πρώτη Dawn που θα διατεθεί στη Βόρειο Αμερική θα βγει σε δημοπρασία με όλα τα έσοδα να πάνε στο ίδρυμα Naples Children & Education Foundation. Η δημοπρασία θα γίνει στα τέλη Ιανουαρίου στο περιθώριο του φεστιβάλ Winter Wine στη πόλη Νάπολη της Φλόριντα, με την πρώτη Dawn της Βορείου Αμερικής να είναι βαμμένη σε

λευκό χρώμα, να έχει κόκκινες λεπτομέρειες, κόκκινη υφασμάτινη οροφή και στο εσωτερικό της έχουν τοποθετηθεί ξύλινες επενδύσεις από ινδικές τριανταφυλλιές και λευκές δερμάτινες επενδύσεις.

Το αυτοκίνητο παρουσιάστηκε τον περασμένο Σεπτέμβριο στο περιθώριο της έκθεσης της Φρανφκούρτης, με την υφασμάτινη οροφή να ανοιγοκλείνει μέσα σε 20 δευτερόλεπτα, με ταχύτητες έως και 50 χλμ/ώρα. Έχει μήκος 5.285 χλστ., πλάτος 1.947 χλστ., ύψος 1.502 χλστ. και μεταξόνιο 3.112 χλστ.. Ζυγίζει 2.560 κιλά και κίνηση παίρνει από τον V12 biturbo 6.6-λίτρων κινητήρα απόδοσης 570 ίππων στις 5.250 σ.α.λ με 780 Nm ροπής στις 1.500 σ.α.λ. Τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα τα κάνει σε 4,9 δευτερόλεπτα, έχοντας τελική ταχύτητα 250 χλμ/ώρα (ηλεκτρονικά περιορισμένη).

The all-new Rolls-Royce Dawn marks a new horizon in the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ lineup of pinnacle motor cars, and the brand has offered the very first delivery in North America to benefit Naples’ charities. This Dawn will be offered at the Naples Winter Wine Festival to be held from January 29-31 2016 at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida with proceeds benefiting the Festival’s founding organization, the Naples Children & Education Foundation.

This particular motor car is guaranteed to be the first delivery in North America, and will be built in February 2016 at Goodwood, the Home of Rolls-Royce in the South of England. Upon departure from of the home of Rolls-Royce, the car will be flown to location. The ‘first’ Rolls-Royce Dawn is scheduled for delivery in April 2016.

This exquisite motor car – commissioned specifically for this moment – boasts a stunning Arctic White exterior finish with a Deep Red roof, offset by an Arctic White and contrasting Consort Red interior appointed in the finest quality leather in the world.
