Η Bentley ανακαλεί τη Continental Flying Spur για πρόβλημα στην ηλιοροφή

H Bentley ανακοίνωσε ότι ανακαλεί στην Αμερική 127 Continental Flying Spur με ημερομηνίες κατασκευής από 25 Απριλίου 2007 μέχρι 31 Οκτωβρίου 2008, εξαιτίας ενός προβλήματος στην ηλιοροφή του πολυτελούς αυτοκινήτου.

Πιο συγκεκριμένα, η βρετανική εταιρία αναφέρει ότι δεν καθάρισε σωστά το τζάμι πριν την εφαρμογή της κόλλας για την τοποθέτηση του στον σκελετό του αυτοκινήτου. Εξαιτίας αυτού, το τζάμι μπορεί να “ξεφλουδίσει” στο πέρασμα του χρόνου και τελικά πέσει, κάτι που θα μπορούσε να προκαλέσει κίνδυνο ατυχήματος.

είναι ενήμερη για ένα πιθανό περιστατικό, σύμφωνα με τις πληροφορίες της, με την εταιρία να μην αναφέρει αν το πρόβλημα συνδέεται με το αντίστοιχο των ηλιοροφών της Audi για το Α8 και S8, παραγωγής ίδιας περιόδου.

SUMMARY:Bentley Motors, Inc. (Bentley) is recalling certain model year 2007-2009 Continental Flying Spur vehicles manufactured April 25, 2007 through October 31, 2008. The sunroof glass on the affected vehicles may not be properly secured to the sunroof frame. As a result, the sunroof glass may detach from the car while driving.

CONSEQUENCE:If the glass detaches from the sunroof frame it could be come a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

REMEDY:Bentley will notify owners, and dealers will apply additional adhesive between the sunroof glass frame and sunroof glass panel, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in August 2016. Owners may contact Bentley customer service at 1-800-777-6923.
