Η Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster θα παρουσιαστεί στο φετινό Pebble Beach

Η Aston Martin αποκάλυψε πριν περίπου ενάμιση μήνα την V12 Vantage S Roadster, και σήμερα μαθαίνουμε ότι τα μάτια του κόσμου θα την δουν για πρώτη φορά από κοντά στο φετινό Pebble Beach, που ξεκινάει στις 14 Αυγούστου.

Διπλά της θα είναι ένα πλήρως μοντέλο του DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo concept, που κατασκευάστηκε ειδικά για το παιχνίδι Gran Turismo 6. Η V12 Vantage S Roadster αποτελεί το ταχύτερο και δυνατότερο roadster που έχει κατασκευάσει ποτέ η Aston Martin και όπως

και η V12 Vantage S Coupe διαθέτει μαύρες ζάντες 19″, αεριζόμενο καπό και carbon διακοσμητικά, με τον σχεδιασμό της μάσκας να δανείζεται στοιχεία από αυτή του CC100 Speedster Concept. Στο εσωτερικό συναντάμε bucket καθίσματα με carbon πλάτη, μαύρες και κίτρινες δερμάτινες/alcantara επενδύσεις καθώς και carbon διακοσμητικά.

Κάτω από το καπό της βρίσκεται ο AM28 V12 6,0-λίτρων κινητήρας ο οποίος αποδίδει 573 άλογα στις 6.750 σ.α.λ με 620 Nm ροπής στις 5.750 σ.α.λ, επιτρέποντας στο αυτοκίνητο να έχει τελική ταχύτητα 323 χλμ/ώρα. Συνδυάζεται με το νέο 7-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο Sportshift III, με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε 4,1 δευτερόλεπτα.

Οι ηλεκτρονικές αναρτήσεις του αυτοκινήτου διαθέτουν τρεις ρυθμίσεις (normal, sport και track), με τα προγράμματα αυτά να αλλάζουν παράλληλα και τη σκληρότητα του τιμονιού. Η εξάτμιση προέρχεται από την One-77 και είναι πολύ ελαφρύτερη από αυτή του απερχόμενου μοντέλου. Οι πωλήσεις της Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster θα ξεκινήσουν αργότερα μέσα στο έτος.

Developed in-house by the Design team at Aston Martin, DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo is a new, virtual-only GT racer that is available for Gran Turismo®6 (GT6™) owners to download and will be shown as a full-size hand-crafted model at Monterey this month.

The DP-100 will be exclusively available for viewings to customers and invited guests at the Aston Martin Estate (14-16 August) where it will be joined by the V12 Vantage S Roadster which will also lead the marque’s presence at Quail: A Motorsports Gathering (15 August).

Supported by Louis Roederer, Timothy Oulton, McIntosh, Davidoff, William Grant & Sons, Ghurka and Merrill Lynch, more than 1,000 customers are expected to visit during the week.
