The settlement for bad business loans will be expanded, by order of Prime Minister Antonis Samaras

The settlement for bad business loans will be expanded, by order of Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, to include two more loan categories.

According to sources, Development Minister Nikos Dendias will include the loans of the "bad" Agricultural Bank and those signed with the Greek state as a guarantor in the legislation on non-performing loans.

More specifically, it concerns loans transferred to the "bad" Agricultural Bank, after its split into "good" and "bad" bank, and to Piraeus Bank provided they have not been part of a settlement. It also includes loans granted to earthquake or fire-stricken areas, businesses in Northern Greece, poultry farms and other professionals.
