to the information the AA correspondent obtained from local sources, the US Department of State has launched a new support program worth 400 million for the so-called security forces affiliated to the terrorist organization YPG / PKK . 

Most of the support package that started reaching the YPG / PKK last month will be used for military purposes.

Within the scope of the program that will last until the New Year, bomb detection devices, fingerprint tracking devices and detective equipment are delivered to the members of the organization.

Within the program, in addition to providing the security equipment and materials needed by the organization in the regions occupied by the organization, the delivery of many new types of coronavirus (Kovid-19) test kits to the organization has started.

The program aims to strengthen the internal security mechanisms in the regions occupied by the terrorist organization.

“Humanitarian response” to AA’s question

AA reporters asked the US State Department about the support program for the terrorist organization .

“None of these funds will go to the security forces. All of the $ 720 million recently announced was for humanitarian aid. The United States provides this humanitarian aid to Syrians inside Syria and in the region through international organizations and non-governmental organizations, which are experienced and trusted partners in the field. “
