«O γυμνός καθηγητής» (The Naked Professor) είναι ο λογαριασμός στο instagram του Ben και είναι…όνομα και πράγμα. Ο 36-χρονος entrepreneur στον τομέα της τεχνολογίας γδύνεται σε μέρη που υπάρχει κόσμος για να περάσει ένα μήνυμα, να βοηθήσει τους ανθρώπους -κυρίως τους άντρες- να απελευθερώσουν το μυαλό τους, να αποκαλύψουν τον πραγματικό τους εαυτό και να αποκτήσουν υπερηφάνεια για αυτό που είναι.

Μάλιστα, έχει ποζάρει και στην παραλία του Μύρτου στην Κεφαλονιά.

So this is a slightly different type of image for me. Only partial nakedness and my face almost visible, i’m sorry if this disappoints on both accounts! * Please don’t worry (for those of you who are worried!), the raw and vulnerable “naked professor” images are here to stay! But alongside them, I also want to try and engage at another level, because this blog was launched to be about much more than just the images . * For those of you who get as far as reading these captions, you’ll know that my messages work in tandem with the pictures in expressing my freedom (both mentally and physically), in being vulnerable, raw, open and authentic. These four attributes were missing in my disconnected past but in searching for growth, I’ve learned how much our mind is a powerful possession, that so many of us undervalue and underutilise. * Through this blog I hope to bring awareness to mental wellness and share better ways of thinking and being. I'm bearing my soul (and everything else!) hoping to inspire my audience to connect with their dreams, find their purpose and live a life that truly fulfills them . * In pursuing this, I hope there is space for all kinds of images! Apart from anything else, the naked ones aren't the easiest to capture (I have plenty of stories around this!) and although they are still a big part of my underlying message, I hope to be able to open up and share more of whom I am and what I stand for, with or without clothes on ! * As part of this journey I will soon be providing guided meditations (think an hour gym class for the mind), workshops, retreats and private coaching. My message is my passion and to be able to share more of it is a wonderful opportunity for me, I hope to meet as many of you along the way as possible. «Τα τελευταία τρία χρόνια τρέχω μια startup τεχνολογίας που δεν προχώρησε όπως ήλπιζα.

Ούτε καν το τεχνολογικό κομμάτι δεν πήγαινε πολύ καλά, που μου άφησε ένα αίσθημα ότι δεν έχω τον έλεγχο της ζωής μου. Χρησιμοποίησα το στρες για να κατευθύνω τον νου μου σε κάτι που όντως μπορούσα να ελέγξω. Όπως λέει, «ζούσε μέσα στο κεφάλι του» για πολλά χρόνια, ανήσυχος για τη γνώμη του κόσμου, ανασφαλής, ακολουθούσε το πλήθος και ζούσε μια ανέμπνευστη ζωή, όπως ο ίδιος αποκάλυψε.

«Το The Naked Professor αφορά το να μοιράζομαι την γνώση μου στο πως να ζεις καλύτερα και πως να είσαι υπερήφανος για τον εαυτό σου. Θέλω το κοινό μου να αφαιρέσει τις μάσκες του και να βρουν τις αξίες που τους εκπροσωπούν καλύτερα».

The minute I stopped caring about what other people thought and started doing what I wanted to do is the minute I finally felt free. * @alin.ostafe and I waited a long time to get this picture. It’s a busy place and although we were desperate to capture the moment, we weren’t there to cause any offence to passers by. Just as we were going to give up, we got a moment to ourselves and Alin did the rest . I walk here exposing my soul, choosing to break the rules and live outside of society's norms, so I can exist free from the restrictions of conformity. It’s time for me to get out of my comfort zone and stare fear in the face, for it will no longer be a suppressor of my hopes and dreams. . I once lived uninspired under the governance of the London corporate world, wondering if this was all my life was meant to be. While some flourish in the security and day to day structure of the corporate lifestyle, I felt trapped. My creativity was stripped and an office imprisoned me, I was no longer mentally or physical free. . Determined to bring something creative, authentic and maybe even something a little rebellious to my life, I stepped away from career ladders to study the things that inspired me. As I embark on this adventure, enriched from an education about the things that I love, I now walk free, unrestricted and excited about creating my own destiny. . I am a man who has experienced failure and rejection in both business and in love, but through these lessons I've learnt about my passions and strengthened my will. And so, after much soul searching, plotting and dreaming, I stand here to express myself in my own unique way, let loose, free from my limiting beliefs and corporate imprisonment. . I now run through forests and mountains and jump in the sea, rise with the sun and feel the wind in my hair, to discover new horizons and create beautiful memories. I'll be silly, I'll be strange but I’ll always be kind, for I am free and while society may say I am poor, my soul is rich. . I am here to bring awareness to mental and physical health by exposing and sharing my emotional freedom. So as I get off my butt to practice what I preach, I’ll share my vulnerabilities and express my strengths and passions, in the hope that this adventure to who knows where, brings joy and inspiration to whoever decides to follow me. . I want to spread a message of hope and inspiration, we have only one life, let’s explore and dream of what might be. Don’t sell your soul short, fight for yourself and what you represent, and do with your life what your heart craves most of all.
