People across Asia and the Middle East saw a rare annular eclipse AKA “ring of fire” eclipse — when the moon doesn’t completely cover the sun, leaving a bright ring: pic.twitter.com/HNgoXWAij6

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, ‘The sun and the moon are two signs amongst the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse because of someone’s death or life. So when you see them, invoke Allah and pray till the eclipse is clear. ‘” (Hadith 2:168) pic.twitter.com/JLfBm9jUV5

Gerhana Matahari view from my house. The dual lens camera will produce a twin eclipse which is 45° away from the actual sun position. The real eclipse is the blue one. Then an oposite 180° angle of “twin” projection with a 180 ° color from blue spectrum which is red. Extra pic.twitter.com/Bmk231s7Cv

Like many Indians, I was enthusiastic about #solareclipse2019.

Unfortunately, I could not see the Sun due to cloud cover but I did catch glimpses of the eclipse in Kozhikode and other parts on live stream. Also enriched my knowledge on the subject by interacting with experts. pic.twitter.com/EI1dcIWRIz

A legend says that the sun and the moon have always been in love, but they could never be together, because the moon rises at sunset and the sun just at dawn. In his infinite goodness, God created the eclipse as proof that there is no love thats forbidden and impossible. pic.twitter.com/hakP75hqKp

Sometimes, I think of the sun and the moon as lovers who rarely meet, always chase, and almost always miss one another, But once in a while, they do catch up, and they kiss, and the world stares in awe of their eclipse. pic.twitter.com/AUHgs2gyJV

Solar eclipse observation at TDMRC rooftop conducted by BMKG Indonesia (@infoBMKG) on Thursday 26/12/2019. The moon partially covers the sun as seen from Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Crowds have gathered to watch the natural phenomenon. #RingofFire #SolarEclipse #solareclipse2019 pic.twitter.com/XhpCPSniuC

Annular solar eclipse earlier today.
Interesting to see that the Sun prints a reflection of some sort on my camera, probably because there’s too much exposure. Either way it looks cool and you can still see the eclipse #solareclipse2019 pic.twitter.com/Zi2srdWlBV

A legend tells that the sun and the moon were in love but that their love was impossible because when the moon rose, the sun was setting . Then God would have created the eclipse to show that no love is impossible pic.twitter.com/EUjERbk1vk
