Ομάρ: Αυστραλός ο πιο μεγάλος γάτος στον κόσμο!

Όλοι κατά καιρούς έχουμε δει γάτες/ γάτους μεγέθους που παραπέμπει περισσότερο σε κάποια από τα άγρια αιλουροειδή που συναντά κανείς στη φύση παρά στα συμπαθή (και ιδιόρρυθμα) κατοικίδια. Ωστόσο, ο Ομάρ, από τη Μελβούρνη της Αυστραλίας, πιθανότατα τις ξεπερνά όλες, με βάρος 14 κιλών και μήκος 120 εκατοστών- καθιστώντας τον, σύμφωνα με το Mashable (μέχρι αποδείξεως του εναντίου), το μεγαλύτερο οικόσιτο γατί στον κόσμο.

Σε επαφή με την αφεντικίνα του, Στέφι Χιρστ, ήρθε το Guinness World Records, που προσπαθεί να διασταυρώσει αν όντως πρόκειται για την πιο μακριά οικόσιτη γάτα στον πλανήτη. Το ρεκόρ αυτή τη στιγμή κατέχει ο Λούντο από τη Μ. Βρετανία (από την ίδια ράτσα- Maine Coon), με μήκος 118,33 εκατοστών).

Όσον αφορά στο πώς μπορεί να είναι να ζει κανείς στο ίδιο σπίτι με ένα τέτοιο...θρεφτάρι, φωτογραφίες από τον λογαριασμό που έχουν φτιάξει για αυτόν τα αφεντικά του στο Instagram μιλούν από μόνες τους.
