Λίγες εβδομάδες μετά την μεγάλη της νίκη στα μουσικά βραβεία Γκράμι 2020, η Μπίλι Αιλις βρίσκεται για ακόμα μια φορά στην επικαιρότητα και αυτό λόγω του νέου τεύχους της Vogue.

Η 18χρονη μουσικός που κέρδισε Γκράμι στις κατηγορίες «Καλύτερη Πρωτοεμφανιζόμενη», «Τραγούδι της Χρονιάς», «Ηχογράφηση της Χρονιάς» και «Αλμπουμ της Χρονιάς», κοσμεί το εξώφυλλο της αμερικανικής Vogue για το τεύχος Μαρτίου 2020. Και

δεν πρόκειται για ένα μόνο εξώφυλλο, αλλά για τρια σε έντυπη μορφή και ένα σε διαδικτυακή.

«Η Μπίλι Αιλις είναι το αστέρι του εξωφύλλου μας. Για αυτό το τεύχος, η Vogue δημιούργησε τρια διαφορετικά εξώφυλλα - σε όλα πρωταγωνιστεί η Μπίλι Αιλις - από τρεις διαφορετικούς φωτογράφους», γράφει στον επίσημο λογαριασμό της Vogue. Φωτογράφοι των εξωφύλλων είναι οι: Ιθαν Τζέιμς Γκριν, Χάρλεί Γουάιρ και Χασάν Χατζάζ. Οσον αφορά το διαδικτυακό εξώφυλλο, την εικονογράφηση έκαναν η 16χρονη Νάστια Κοβτούν από τη Ρωσία και η 20χρονη Κέιλι Γιάνγκ από το Μίσιγκαν. Μάλιστα η Αιλις ήταν εκείνη που πρότεινε τις δυο καλλιτέχνιδες μέσα από χιλιάδες καλλιτέχνες θαυμαστές της και παρόλο που δεν ακολουθεί καμία από τις δυο στο Instagram.

At the 2020 #Grammys, 18-year-old @billieeilish walked away with four of the night’s biggest awards, including best new artist, record of the year, album of the year, and song of the year. In winning those four major awards, she also replaced @TaylorSwift as the youngest-ever solo winner for album of the year and became the first woman and second person ever to win record of the year, album of the year, song of the year, and best new artist in the same year. “Music was always underlying,” March cover star @billieeilish explains of her childhood. “I always sang. It was like wearing underwear: It was just always underneath whatever else you were doing.” She wrote her first song on the ukulele at age seven, and she soon taught herself how to play piano and guitar from watching YouTube videos. She was willfully independent, never pushed to the stage. “You know how there’s always that singer kid who’s like, ‘I can sing!’ and then would sing in front of you? I remember hating that person.
