Oscars 2017: Το «La La Land» έγινε η ταινία με τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες στην ιστορία του θεσμού

«Dreams are What Movies are Made Of», είναι το σλόγκαν που συνοδεύει το επίσημο trailer για την φετινή, 89η τελετή απονομής των βραβείων Oscar, οι υποψήφιοι των οποίων ανακοινώθηκαν πριν από λίγα λεπτά από την Ακαδημία, δια στόματος Brie Larson, Jennifer Hudson, Ken Watanabe και Jason Reitman.

Και, όπως διαπιστώσαμε, η φετινή λίστα, παρά τις όποιες ελλείψεις της (για τα Oscar μιλάμε άλλωστε, κανείς δεν περιμένει απόλυτη δικαίωση σε όλες τις κατηγορίες, ούτε καν στις βασικές), περιέχει αρκετές ταινίες και δημιουργούς που βοήθησαν σημαντικά μέσα στο 2016 για την οπτικοποίηση αυτών των ονείρων.

Το «La La Land» ηγείται θεαματικά της κούρσας, όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο άλλωστε, με 14 υποψηφιότητες και ισοφαρίζει έτσι τα θρυλικά «All About Eve» (1950) και «Titanic» (1997) στις ταινίες με τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες στην ιστορία του θεσμού.

Στα ακόμη πιο ευχάριστα, ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος συνεχίζει τη πορεία του στα Oscar, καθώς είναι προτεινόμενος στην ιδιαίτερα σημαντική κατηγορία Original Screenplay (Όσκαρ Πρωτότυπου Σεναρίου) με τον «Αστακό», αποδεικνύοντας για μια ακόμη φορά την αγάπη που του έχει το Hollywood.
