Η Ντέμι Λοβάτο έβγαλε τα ρούχα της για μια φωτογράφηση χωρίς μέικαπ και ρετούς για το Vanity Fair. «Τι σημαίνει να έχεις αυτοπεποίθηση;» ρωτά. «Σημαίνει να αφήνεσαι, να είσαι αυθεντικός, να λες ότι δεν δίνεις δεκάρα και αυτός είσαι. Θέλω να δείξω την πλευρά μου που είναι πραγματική, ελεύθερη. Γιατί να μην κάνουμε μια φωτογράφηση που είναι εντελώς “ωμή”; Σούπερ σέξι, αλλά χωρίς μέικαπ, χωρίς ειδικό φωτισμό, χωρίς ρετούς και χωρίς ρούχα. Ας το κάνουμε εδώ, ας το κάνουμε τώρα».

Όπως και να έχει, φαίνεται υπέροχη. «Είναι ενδυναμωτικό» είπε η 23χρονη, που έχει αντιμετωπίσει διατροφικές διαταραχές, «και δείχνει σε άλλες γυναίκες ότι μπορείς να φτάσεις σε ένα σημείο όπου μπορείς να ξεπεράσεις τα εμπόδια της εικόνας για το σώμα σου. Μπορείς να νιώσεις άνετα στο σώμα σου».
