MTV VMAs 2019: Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish και Camila Cabello ηγήθηκαν στα βραβεία

Μία από τις μεγάλες βραδιές για την παγκόσμια μουσική που μας επιφυλάσσει το τελευταίο τρίτο του 2019, έγινε χθες στο Νιούαρκ του Νιου Τζέρσι. Εκεί μαζεύτηκαν όλα τα μεγάλα ονόματα της βιομηχανίας για τα βραβεία MTV VMAs και όπως αναμενόταν, το τέλος της βραδιάς ανέδειξε έναν νικητή: τη γυναίκα.

Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello και Cardi B είχαν πάρει τουλάχιστον ένα βραβείο πριν καν γίνει η απονομή, αφού προπορεύονταν στις υποψηφιότητες με 10, 9 και 9 για τις

τρεις πρώτες.

Το μόνο που έμενε να μάθουμε είναι πόσα θα πάρει η καθεμιά στα MTV VMAs, αφού στις περισσότερες κατηγορίες ήταν αντίπαλοι, ιδίως οι δύο πρώτες. Εν τέλει, Taylor, Eilish και Grande κατέληξαν με τρία βραβεία, η Cabello με 2 πακέτο με τον Shawn Mendes για το Senorita, ενώ η Cardi B πήρε μόνο το βραβείο για το καλύτερο hip-hop κομμάτι.

Φυσικά η Grande δεν μπόρεσε να δώσει το παρών στα MTV Awards, μιας και βρίσκεται στο Μάντσεστερ για να δώσει συναυλία στο Pride, ενώ και η Billie Eilish είναι στη Ρωσία για συναυλία.

Μεγάλος νικητής ήταν και το κομμάτι Old Town Road των Lil Nas και Billie Ray Cyrus που πήρε δύο βραβεία.

Στα αξιοσημείωτα της βραδιάς ήταν αναμφίβολα ο λόγος της Swift για την ισότητα και, πολύ περισσότερο, η εμφάνιση της Miley Cyrus για να τραγουδήσει το νέο της τραγούδι Slide Away, το οποίο αναφέρεται στον πρόσφατο χωρισμό της με τον Λίαμ Χέμσγουορθ.
