Η σειρά διαδοχής στο βρετανικό θρόνο

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ωστόσο πως η παραίτηση του πρίγκιπα Χάρι και της Μέγκαν Μαρκλ από τα βασιλικά τους αξιώματα δεν επηρεάζει, τη σειρά διαδοχής στο βρετανικό θρόνο, καθώς ο Χάρι ήταν ο 6ος στη σειρά για τον θρόνο.

Μετά από την βασίλισσα Ελισάβετ, σειρά έχει ο γιος της, Κάρολος, ενώ ακολουθεί ο πρωτότοκος γιος του και αδερφός του Χάρι, Πρίγκιπας Ουίλιαμ.

Ο βασιλιάς της Αγγλίας Εδουάρδος ο 7ος έκανε κάτι που οι μονάρχες δεν έχουν την πολυτέλεια να κάνουν: ερωτεύτηκε τη λάθος γυναίκα.

Η αγαπημένη του Γουάλις Σίμπσον .όχι μόνο ήταν αμερικανίδα αλλά ήταν παντρεμένη σε δεύτερο γάμο και είχε πάρει ήδη ένα διαζύγιο!

Προκειμένου να την παντρευτεί και να ζήσει μαζί της, ο Εδουάρδος εγκατέλειψε τον βρετανικό θρόνο τον Δεκέμβριο του 1936.
