Government, troika back to the negotiations table

The negotiations will focus on the restructuring of the Hellenic Defence Systems (EAS), the evaluation of the Greek economy in order an agreement to be reached that will give the green light for the disbursement of the 4.9 billion euro tranche which according to EU οfficials this will be disbursed gradually depending on the implementation of the commitments.

Among the pending issues are also the fiscal gap in 2014, the home foreclosures, the deregulation of the commercial leases, the mass layoffs, the lower businesses contribution to social security funds, the reserve labour and civil servants’ layoffs, the new single tax in real estate, the VAT rate in food services and the tax abolition to third persons.

According to European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs Olli Rehn, the negotiations are expected to last a week.
