First axonometric representation of ancient Amphipolis tomb

The archaeological excavations at Kasta tumulus in Amphipolis continue along with the horizontal removal of the soil throughout the area between the second diaphragmatic wall with the caryatids and the third wall.

Meanwhile, the first axonometric representation of the tomb was presented by Culture Ministry's architect Mihalis Lefantzis. The representation shows the two diaphragmatic walls with the sphinxes and the caryatids. Support and maintenance works continue along with the documentation of the archaeological finds and works with digital and conventional means.
