Tweet "Να σώσουμε την Αισθητική Αγωγή στη Δευτεροβάθμια Εκπαίδευση" Όταν μια κοινωνία είναι σε κρίση το πιο επικίνδυνο που μπορείς να κάνεις είναι να κλείσεις τις βαλβίδες αποσυμφόρησης της... Στην Ελλάδα, στο άλλοτε λίκνο του πολιτισμού, στην σύγχρονη αφετηρία της οικονομικής κρίσης, εκεί στο νότο της Ευρώπης, η Ευρώπη ως κοιτίδα πολιτισμού και ανθρωπισμού χάνει το νόημα της. Με αφορμή τον ξαφνικό περιορισμό της Τέχνης (Εικαστικά - Μουσική) στα σχολεία, σε μία μόλις τάξη, την Α' Γυμνασίου, θα θέλαμε να αρθρώσουμε κραυγή αγωνίας για τον τόπο, τη μαθητική νεολαία και τις έννοιες που έθρεψαν και στήριξαν την κοινωνία των πολιτών της Ευρώπης χρόνια τώρα. Η οικονομική κρίση στην Ελλάδα φαίνεται ότι έχει τέτοιες γιγάντιες διαστάσεις που οι ιθύνοντες του Υπουργείου Παιδείας αδυνατούν να εγγυηθούν εργασία στους καθηγητές καλλιτεχνικών μαθημάτων, ανεξαρτήτως των αναγκών. Έτσι αφαιρούν τάξεις και ώρες διδασκαλίας από το επίσημο ωρολόγιο πρόγραμμα του Γυμνασίου -Λυκείου, ενώ ταυτόχρονα τους αυξάνουν το διδακτικό τους ωράριο, με αποτέλεσμα "πλασματικά" να φαίνονται υπεράριθμοι και περιττοί για το σύγχρονο σχολείο της κρίσης. Δεν είναι σαφές αν οι αρμόδιοι του εκπαιδευτικού σχεδιασμού έχουν συγκεκριμένες προθέσεις και στόχους πίσω από αυτές τις αποφάσεις, πέραν του στενά δημοσιοοικονομικού (π.χ 100 λιγότεροι εργαζόμενοι σε βάθος χρόνου). Επειδή όμως, περισσότερο από οποιοδήποτε άλλο, το Υπουργείο Παιδείας έχει σύνθετο ρόλο, θα θέλαμε να περιγράψουμε αποσπασματικά τις αρνητικές διαστάσεις μιας τέτοιας απόφασης. Η Τέχνη ως γνωστόν, είναι πεδίο εξερεύνησης και διερεύνησης του «εγώ» και του περιβάλλοντα «χώρου», πεδίο ανάπτυξης της φαντασίας, της δημιουργικότητας, της έκφρασης του νέου μαθητή. Σε μια κοινωνία κρίσης που αλλάζει και στενεύει συνεχώς, πως θα προσδιορίσει το νέο άτομο, τον εαυτό του και τον ρόλο του μέσα στην κοινωνία; Που και πως θα διοχετεύσει την αντίδραση του και τον θυμό του; Οι γονείς, τι θέση θα πάρουν σε όλα αυτά; Μπορούν αυτοί από μόνοι τους να απελευθερώσουν την δημιουργικότητα των παιδιών τους; Να τους ανοίξουν ορίζοντες έκφρασης, ή θεωρούν ότι το υπόλοιπο σχολείο, όπως έχει δομηθεί, μπορεί; Τους αρκούν άραγε σχολεία που θα προετοιμάζουν μηχανικά τα παιδιά τους για χαμηλόβαθμες υπαλληλικές και εργατικές θέσεις; 'Η θέλουν ένα πιο ανοιχτό και δυναμικό σχολείο, ειδικά για αυτούς τους δύσκολους καιρούς, όπου τα εφόδια όλων μας οικονομικά, ψυχικά κ.α. περιορίζονται γοργά γοργά; Έχουν διερωτηθεί άραγε πια θα είναι η εναλλακτική; τα «παυσίπονα» των αντικαταθλιπτικών ή οι όποιες εξαρτήσεις; Θέλουν οδηγούς ζωής για τα παιδιά τους ή ο τεχνοκρατισμός τους αρκεί; Τέλος, όλοι αυτοί οι καθηγητές εικαστικών και μουσικής, τι θα κάνουν σε μια κοινωνία, που τους θεωρεί οικονομικά αδύνατη πολυτέλεια και που ως τώρα έχει μάθει να δέχεται τις υπηρεσίες τους δωρεάν; Η Τέχνη στην Ελλάδα έχει σχεδόν ανύπαρκτη αγορά, και οι όποιες χορηγίες της απευθύνονται κυρίως σε καλλιτεχνικές διοργανώσεις και όχι στους ίδιους τους καλλιτέχνες, πόσο μάλιστα στους παιδαγωγούς-καλλιτέχνες. Όταν αυτοί οι παιδαγωγοί βγαίνουν στο περιθώριο την συγκεκριμένη περίοδο, τότε πραγματικά μπορούμε να μιλάμε για μια κοινωνία σε κρίση, με στενό ορίζοντα χρόνου. Θεωρούμε ότι ο πολιτισμός είναι διέξοδος, η δημιουργία εκτόνωση και η τέχνη φάρμακο κατά της υποβάθμισης, ειδικά σε καιρούς κρίσης. Θα πρέπει να σκεφτούμε τρόπους να αναβαθμίσουμε τη δημιουργικότητα και την καλλιτεχνική ευαισθησία στην εκπαίδευση, και όχι να καταργούμε ή να υποβαθμίζουμε την αισθητική και πολιτισμική αγωγή των νέων γενεών. According to the new schedule promoted by the Ministry, Art Education will be eliminated in just one class: 1st grade of junior high. By voting to this petition, you help us to say NO to such a decision, which is totally disintegrating, dissolving and clearly incompatible with the real needs of education and society... Art is not a luxury but a necessity, this truth is accepted by society for many years, and no one can or has the right to disregard this. The removal of art classes means in fact the setback of all education many years back. Instead of eliminating Art Education, we should find ways to upgrade it and enhance the cultural vision of young people and for the generations to come. ------------------- When a society is in crisis the most dangerous thing you can do is to shut down the decongestion valves. Here in the south of Europe, in Greece, which once was the cradle of civilization, and has now become the starting point of the current economic crisis, Europe loses its meaning as the cradle of civilization and humanity. In reaction to Government's sudden decision for the restriction of Art classes (Visual Arts - Music) in high schools, (just to grade A), us the Art teachers would like to express our agony for our country, our student youth and the abandoning of all those values and ideas that nurtured and supported civil society in Europe for years now. The economic crisis in Greece seems to have such gigantic proportions that the executives of the Ministry of Education cannot guarantee to artistic professors their employment, regardless of educational needs. They took classes and teaching hours out of the official programme/timetable of High Schools (decrease hours from junior high school/gymnasium and remove lesson from the high school/lyceum) while simultaneously they have been increasing professors' teaching time, which is resulting in plasmatic data and artistic teachers to appear redundant and unnecessary for the modern school of the crisis. It is unclear whether the executives of educational planning have specific intentions and goals behind these decisions and beyond completing governmental and budgetary goals (e.i. 500 fewer workers in the long run). However, because more than any other, the Ministry of Education has a complex role, we would like to describe the incomplete and negative dimensions of such a decision. As it is known, Art is a field that involves the exploration and investigation of "ego" the development of imagination, creativity and expression of the new student. In a society in crisis, narrowing and constantly changing, where and how would a young person identify, himself and his role in society; Where and how would handle the reaction and anger? What would be the role and position of parents, what would be their reaction in all these? Would they be left alone to release the imagination of their children? Would they be responsible to show them new horizons of expression or should they presume that the "new" school, the way it is structured, could do it? Would they be satisfied with the "new" schools, "preparing" their children to become white-collar workers on a lower-level positions? Or would they wish for a more open and dynamic school, especially for those difficult times where we are all getting less, economically, mentally, etc. day by day? Would they wonder what their alternatives would be? Would that be "painkillers" or antidepressants or any other kind of dependencies? Would they seek for life guidance for their children or would they expect that technocracy is enough? Finally, what about all these people, the teachers of art classes, (painting, music etc.) and what they would do… or what each of us would do in a society that considers these people as a financially unbearable burden or as a nonessential providing and so far has learned to accept their services for free? Art in Greece is an almost non-existent market, and any kind of sponsorships are offered to artistic organizations and not the artists themselves, let alone the teachers-artists.
