ND youth win students elections

The youth movement of the ruling New Democracy party, DAP-NDFK, has won in nationwide student polls, marking its 37th consecutive victory.

With the count finalized in 60 student associations, DAP-NDFK secured about 48 percent of the votes, a figure expected to reach around 40 percent in the final tally, officials said. The Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) was trailing second with about 20 percent. Syriza’s student faction remained absent from the vote.
