Bill on printed, electronic media passes in Parliament plenary on strength of ND vote

The bill on printed and electronic media was approved in the Greek Parliament's plenary on Thursday night with the votes of ruling New Democracy party.

All opposition parties voted against the bill in principle, except for Elliniki Lysi, which voted "present".

However, many of the individual articles were supported by opposition parties which thought they were in the right direction.
