High-end fashion brand LVMH becomes Apple watch’s competitor

LVMH, the French fashion company which holds brands such as Louis Vuitton, Fendi, TAG Heuher, Zenith, Hublot and other high fashion names is designing its own version of a smartwatch.

This news come after reports of the Apple Watch’s slow moving sales since April’s successful launch but downgraded the following months.

According to the president of the LVMH Watch Division, Jean-Claude Biver this luxury watch should cost 1,400 euros and would have a 40-hour battery life where Apple Watch battery is designed to last 18 hours.

TAG Heuer has already started its associations with Google Inc. and Intel Corp this past March for the development of the watch and will present the new smartwatch by the end of this year.
