Τα πρώτα σκίτσα της Mercedes-AMG GT3

Αυτά είναι τα πρώτα σκίτσα της AMG GT3, της αγωνιστικής έκδοση της AMG-GT, που έχει ανακοινώσει από τον περασμένο Νοέμβριο η Γερμανική εταιρία. Το νέο αγωνιστικό θα παρουσιαστεί στις αρχές του Μάρτη στην έκθεση της Γενεύης και θα φορά τον ίδιο V8 6,2-λίτρων κινητήρα που φορά και η SLS AMG GT3, το αυτοκίνητο δηλαδή που θα αντικαταστήσει η AMG GT GT3.

Η επιλογή

αυτή γίνεται για τον λόγο πως η Mercedes-AMG δεν μπορεί να έχει έτοιμο έως το 2016 έναν νέο κινητήρα που θα πληροί τους κανονισμούς της FIA για τα πρωταθλήματα GT3 του 2016. Έτσι επέλεξε την ασφαλή λύση, του V8 6,2-λίτρων. Το αγωνιστικό θα ξεκινήσει να τρέχει σε αγώνες το 2016.
