Το ξέραμε ότι θα συμβεί αλλά είναι πλέον επίσημο. Ήσυχα και αναμενόμενα, η Mazda αποφάσισε να τερματίσει το minivan Mazda5. Προς το παρόν, τα νέα αφορούν στην αγορά των Η.Π.Α. αλλά δεν πιστεύω ότι θα αργήσει μία πιο “παγκόσμια” ανακοίνωση. Αν και κρίνοντας από τον τρόπο που το ανακοίνωσε εκεί, δεν ξέρω αν θα ασχοληθεί η Ιαπωνική εταιρία:

Αυτή ήταν η ανακοίνωση σε ένα αρκετά μεγάλο δελτίο τύπου που εξηγεί την γκάμα της Mazda για το 2016. Το Mazda5 δεν ήταν κακό αυτοκίνητο αλλά ποτέ δεν είχε ιδιαίτερα υψηλές πωλήσεις σε μία κατηγορία που ούτως ή άλλως δεν είναι τόσο δημοφιλής.

The 2016 Mazda CX-3 is an all-new vehicle for Mazda and enters the quickly burgeoning subcompact CUV segment. CX-3 comes standard in North America with a 2.0-liter SKYACTIV-G engine, which produces 146 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. It comes paired exclusively with a six-speed SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission and is available in front-wheel or predictive i-ACTIV all-wheel drive. Trim levels include Sport, Touring and Grand Touring.
