Επίσημο: Dacia Duster Facelift 2014

Η Dacia αναφέρει πως έχουν ενισχυθεί τα 4×4 χαρακτηριστικά του φορώντας νέες ζάντες 16″, νέες μπάρες οροφής και νέο σήμα “4WD”. Στο εσωτερικό, παρότι η Dacia δεν έχει δώσει φωτογραφίες, οι αλλαγές θα περιοριστούν στους νέους χρωματισμούς, στο πίνακα οργάνων, στις νέες επενδύσεις, στο νέο σύστημα ενημέρωσης και ψυχαγωγίας με GPS, ενώ θα διαθέτει καλύτερη ηχομόνωση, λόγω της τοποθέτησης περισσότερου ηχομονωτικού υλικού.

Μηχανικά θα φορά τους ίδιους κινητήρες βενζίνης και πετρελαίου, αλλά αυτοί βελτιωθούν ώστε να εκπέμπουν λιγότερο CO2, καταναλώνοντας και λιγότερο καύσιμο. Το μοντέλο θα παραμείνει στην αγορά έως το 2015, αφού τότε φημολογείται πως θα βγει στην αγορά η νέα, δεύτερη γενιά του αυτοκινήτου.

New Dacia Duster. more Duster than ever

New Dacia Duster, presented at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, has been upgraded but retains the design features largely responsible for its success. The new model sports more emphatic 4×4 design cues.

Emphatic 4×4 styling

The front end has been upgraded, with a redesigned grille, adorned by two chrome-plated strips and housing a new, lower-set air intake and new double-optic headlights with daytime running lights. The upgrades underscore the car’s on-road stance and robust, “go-anywhere” character.

“We built on the appeal of the original model and its proportions. Identity components such as the grille have been modernized. We have also strengthened the 4×4 cues of the vehicle, while keeping all its useful features. New Duster-labeled roof bars with slatted supports underline the car’s SUV character, while new 16-inch “Dark Metal” alloy wheels and “Mud and Snow” tires revitalize the profile of New Dacia Duster.

At the back, new lights echo the styling cues of the front end, notably though the use of chrome. A chrome-plated tail pipe and new “4WD” lettering round out the exterior styling changes and further boost the car’s personality.
