Επίσημα σκίτσα του νέου Hyundai i20 [w/video]

Δεν πέρασαν ούτε 24 ώρες από τότε που είδαμε το νέο Hyundai i20 χωρίς καμουφλάζ και η Hyundai έδωσε τα δύο πρώτα επίσημα σκίτσα του. Σύμφωνα με τους Κορεάτες, η δεύτερη γενιά του i20 υιοθετεί τη Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 σχεδιαστική γλώσσα της, με τα σκίτσα να δείχνουν ένα ομορφότερο compact μοντέλο, σε σχέση με τις live φωτογραφίες που είδαμε χθες. Διαθέτει εξάγωνη μάσκα, μεγαλύτερα

φωτιστικά σώματα, ενώ μεγάλωσε και σε διαστάσεις, προσφέροντας περισσότερο διαθέσιμο χώρο για τους πίσω επιβάτες.

Το μοντέλο θα παρουσιαστεί στις 11 του μηνός, δύο μήνες προτού παρουσιαστεί με κάθε επισημότητα στην έκθεση του Παρισιού. Μηχανικά θα εξοπλίζεται με μια γκάμα κινητήρων βενζίνης (τρικύλινδρος 1.000 κ.ε, και τετρακύλινδρος 1,25-λίτρων) και πετρελαίου (τρικύλινδρος 1,1-λίτρων και τετρακύλινδρος 1,4-λίτρων), οι οποίοι θα συνδυάζονται είτε με ένα 6-τάχυτο μηχανικό κιβώτιο είτε με ένα αυτόματο κιβώτιο. Θα υπάρξει και γρήγορη N performance έκδοση η οποία θα παρουσιαστεί κάποια στιγμή μέσα στο 2015.

August 1, 2014 - Hyundai Motor has revealed design renderings of the All-New i20, which was designed at Hyundai Motor’s Design Centre Europe in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

The new version of Hyundai’s popular B-segment model features the brand’s ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0’ design philosophy, in a sophisticated and distinctive design.

The long hood and generous shape create a powerful stance for the All-New i20. The body sides are sculpted yet the overall architecture is clear and simple, with the cabin sitting cleanly on the body. In profile, the dark treatment of the C-pillar visually accentuates the car’s length.

The front presents a bold new interpretation of the well-established Hyundai hexagonal grille and a new thin horizontal strip connecting the headlamps. At the back, the wrap-around rear window and unique treatment for the lamp clusters combine with the car’s hatchback proportions to create a distinctive design.
