Η Jacob & Co, ο Αμερικάνος κατασκευαστής υψηλής ωρολογοποιείας, μόλις παρουσίασε το Astronomica Tourbillon, ένα σύγχρονο ρολόι-έργο τέχνης που κοστίζει ένα εκατομμύριο δολάρια. Είναι κατασκευασμένο από ροζ χρυσό 18 καρατίων, διαμάντια, κρύσταλλα από ζαφείρι, διαθέτει πάρα πολλά κινούμενα μέρη και μπορείς να το χαζέψεις στο video που ακολουθεί. Διαθέτει τέσσερις βραχίονες που κάνουν μια πλήρη περιστροφή κάθε 20 λεπτά, με

τον βραχίονα που δείχνει την ώρα, να περιστρέφεται και αυτός συνέχεια, ώστε να δείχνει στον κάτοχό του, πάντα σωστά την ώρα. Ένα πολύπλευρο σφαιρικό διαμάντι περιστρέφεται σε 2 άξονες κάθε 60 δευτερόλεπτα, με τον άλλον βραχίονα, που διαθέτει ένα tourbillon μηχανισμό, να περιστρέφεται σε τρεις άξονες.

Κάτι τέτοια ρολόγια βλέπεις και συνειδητοποιείς πως όντως ο χρόνος είναι χρήμα. Η Jacob & Co θα το βγάλει σε δύο εκδόσεις, μια χωρίς διαμάντια με κόστος 548.000 δολάρια και μια με διαμάντια με κόστος 1.000.000 δολάρια.
