Teaser Photos: Rolls-Royce Wraith

H Rolls-Royce έδωσε ακόμη μια teaser φωτογραφία του Wraith, της coupe έκδοσης της Ghost, η οποία θα είναι το δυνατότερο μοντέλο που θα έχει βγει ποτέ από το εργοστάσιο της Βρετανικής εταιρίας στο Goodwood.

Με λίγο photoshop, η φωτογραφία γίνεται πιο αποκαλυπτική όπου διακρίνουμε την έντονα coupe σχεδίαση του νέου πολυτελούς μοντέλου, το οποίο θα κάνει ντεμπούτο στην έκθεση της Γενεύης τον Μάρτιο.

Το αυτοκίνητο θα φορά τον twin-turbo V12 κινητήρα 6,6-λίτρων,

ο οποίος θα αποδίδει 608 άλογα, με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε 4.7 δευτερόλεπτα. Θα διαθέτει μεγαλύτερα φρένα, σφιχτότερη και χαμηλότερη κατά 10mm ανάρτηση.

To μεταξόνιο της Wraith Ghost Coupe θα είναι κατά 180 mm μικρότερο από τα 3.295 mm της Ghost ενώ το συνολικό μήκος της θα αγγίζει τα 5.200 mm. Θα ζυγίζει 2.300 κιλά και η Rolls-Royce θα δώσει τρεις teaser φωτογραφίες στις 12, 19 και 26 Φεβρουαρίου. Οι πωλήσεις της θα ξεκινήσουν από το φθινόπωρο με αρχική τιμή κοντά τις £205.000 (€260.000).

ROLLS-ROYCE WRAITH: IN PROFILE

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars today publishes the first official image of its new model Wraith, which will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013.

The graceful silhouette gives expression to a bold and thoroughly contemporary luxury motor car. Flowing lines hint at the extraordinary power and dynamic promise of the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history, yet also highlight design cues that can be traced through the model generations.

Rolls-Royce Wraith evokes the pioneering spirit and lust for adventure that drove company forefather the Honourable Charles Rolls – the consummate gentleman racer. But like Rolls, Wraith will also be steeped in the trappings of luxury and opulence.

When Wraith is present, for that fleeting moment, the world will stand still.
