Διαθέσιμη σε επιβατική και βαν έκδοση, το Sprinter Edition είναι βαμμένο σε ασημί χρώμα και έχει μαύρες ζάντες αλουμινίου 16″, bi-xenon φωτιστικά σώματα, φιμέ παράθυρα, χρωμιομένη γρίλια και σκουρόχρωμα πίσω φωτιστικά σώματα.

Stuttgart – The Sprinter is celebrating its birthday – and everyone is invited to join the party. When it made its debut in 1995, it marked the start of a new era for vans: this highly successful model from Mercedes-Benz Vans has long since become synonymous with a particular breed of van with a gross vehicle weight of around 3.5 t. To date, some 2.9 million Sprinter models have been built which are in service in over 150 markets worldwide. To mark the anniversary of its best-seller, Mercedes-Benz has brought out a highly attractive special model – the exclusively equipped “Edition Sprinter”.

The “Edition Sprinter” is available for the panel van and crewbus variants in the colour brilliant silver metallic. The Edition model’s bumpers are painted in the same colour – a first for the Sprinter. The same can be said of the black tinted tail lights and black 16-inch light-alloy wheels. Alternatively, the “Edition Sprinter” is also available with silver gleaming 17-inch light-alloy wheels.

The special model’s standout visual features also include bi-xenon headlamps and a chromed radiator grille. The “Edition Sprinter” lettering on the flank is another clear sign of the model’s special status.

Inside, the driver is welcomed by floor mats with exclusive “Edition Sprinter” labelling. The Sprinter crewbus variant additionally comes equipped with a top-class leather steering wheel plus dark-tinted windows in the rear.

Special model limited to a run of 2000 units, price saving of 50 percent

The “Edition Sprinter” is limited to a run of 2000 units and goes into production as from June. The special model will go on sale in 19 countries in Europe, from Sweden to Spain and from France to Hungary. All engine variants are available.

In Germany, the “Edition Sprinter” package in panel van guise is priced at 2300 euros (plus VAT). Compared to ordering the optional extras individually, this represents a price saving of around 50 percent.
