H Ferrari Classiche ανακατασκεύασε μια μοναδική 212 Export Coupe Vignale του 1951

Το τμήμα Classich της Ferrari στο Maranello, που ειδικεύεται στην ανακατασκευή και συντήρηση παλαιών αυτοκινήτων παρήγαγε άλλο ένα αριστούργημα. Τελευταία του δημιουργία η ανακαίνιση της Ferrari 212 Export Coupé Vignale φέρνοντάς της στο παλιό της μεγαλείο. Το αυτοκίνητο έχει ασυνήθιστη ιστορία, καθώς αρχικά κατασκευάστηκε τον Απρίλιο του 1951 ως coupe (όπως λέει και το όνομα της), μετά από ένα μήνα πωλήθηκε

στον Αντόνιο Mambretti Sozogni Juva, με τον τελευταίο να το πουλάει, επίσης, ένα μήνα αργότερα στην εταιρεία του Δούκα Cesare d’Acquarone.

Ο συγκεκριμένος Δούκας ήταν αυτός που στο τέλος του 1951, επέλεξε τη ριζική αλλαγή του αμαξώματος και τη μετατροπή του σε cabrio από την εταιρία Vignale. Το 1957 άλλαξε και πάλι τα χέρια, αγοράστηκε από έναν petrolahead από την Πάντοβα, ο γιος του οποίου πρόσφατα πούλησε το αυτοκίνητο με ένα βραζιλιάνο συλλέκτη.

Το αυτοκίνητο υπέστη ολική ανακατασκευή και επανήλθε στη κατάσταση του 1951 και είναι έτοιμο να επιστρέψει στον ιδιοκτήτη του, με την παράδοση να γίνεται τον Απρίλιο, καθώς ο ιδιοκτήτης έχει συμφωνήσει η Ferrari του να εκτεθεί στο Μουσείο της εταιρίας στο Maranello για μερικούς μήνες, ενώ τα τελευταία χρόνια η Ferrari 212 Export Coupé Vignale είχε λάβει σε πολλές φορές στον ιστορικό αγώνα του Mille Miglia.

The 212 Export Coupé is reborn

The car will be at the Maranello Museum until the end of April

Maranello, 9 February – The Ferrari Classiche department in Maranello has produced another masterpiece. It has sympathetically restored a Ferrari 212 Export Coupé Vignale to its former splendour. The car has an unusual history. It was built in April 1951, then in May, it was sold to Antonio Mambretti Sozogni Juva and a month later it was sold to the company of the Duke Cesare d’Acquarone.

In fact, it was the Duke of Acquarone, who at the end of 1951, opted for a radical change of bodywork. The car, which was originally a hardtop, was transformed into a convertible or “Barchetta” by Vignale. In 1957 it changed hands again, bought by an enthusiast from Padua, whose son recently sold the car to a Brazilian collector. In recent years, the 212 Export has been a regular competitor in the historic Mille Miglia.

The car has undergone a total ground-up rebuild, restored to the way it was come the end of 1951 and it is now ready to be returned to its owner. However, the handover will take place only in April, as the owner has agreed to the 212 being displayed in the Maranello Museum for a couple of months.
