Mitarachi who met on Saturday (01/11) with the governor of Central Macedonia Apostolos Tzitzikostas

pledged that he will satisfy the latter's request.

The minister underlined that the new development law that will be tabled in parliament in 2014 is a very important tool for the growth of the Greek economy and noted that "2014 was a record year for the development law because the government has signed projects of total budget 4 billion euros and of total funding 1.7 billion euros".

On his part, Tzitzikostas called 'a golden opportunity' for Greece the public and private partnerships (SDIT) noting that they discussed with Mitarachi the possibility of SDIT programmes to be applied in sectors as the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) as well as in the creation of marinas throughout Central Macedonia, in the city of Thessaloniki, in the regions of Pieria and Halkidiki in order the sea tourism to be upgraded.
