Ο οίκος Bally ερευνά την ιστορία του με το δικό του αλφάβητο

Για να τιμήσει την επερχόμενη 170η επέτειό του, το 2021, το brand Bally σχεδίασε ένα περιγραφικό και εικονογραφημένο αλφάβητο με τίτλο Bally A-Z.

Το αλφάβητο είναι μία παρουσίαση της ιστορίας του ελβετικού πολυτελούς οίκου υποδημάτων και αξεσουάρ, η οποία ξεκινά από το 1851, με συγκινητικές αφηγήσεις και ανέκδοτα από το παρελθόν, καθώς και με αφοσίωση του στην τέχνη της δημιουργίας.Από την αρχική ιστορία του ιδρυτή του οίκου, Καρλ Φραντς Μπάλι και της συζύγου του Σεσίλ, ή «C», τα γραφικά που αποτίουν φόρο τιμής σε διάσημους καλλιτέχνες όπως οι Bernard Villemot και Emil Cardinaux, το Bally A-Z περικλείει τη βάση και τα θεμέλια του ελβετικού οίκου μόδας.

“B” is for “Bally Haus” At Bally Haus, on the corner of Via Montenapoleone and Via Manzoni in the heart of Milan, art, design and nature converge. Spanning three stories, the store concept embodies Bally’s legacy of craftsmanship and design, conceived by London-based architects Casper Mueller Kneer. Inspired by abstract geometries from Swiss artist Paul Klee, the intimacy of a Swiss Cabin, and the classic style of a Milanese apartment, to name a few references, Bally Haus represents more than a design destination, promoting cultural dialogue, events and exchange. #BallyAtoZ #BallyCreators @wylesol_

“C” is for “Carl Franz & Cecyle” ​ ​​Like all profound stories, Bally’s begins with a gesture of love. Founder Carl Franz Bally was on a business trip in Paris when he passed a store selling lace-up boots with innovative closures. Inspired by the new technology, and wanting to surprise his wife Cecyle Rychner with a gift, Carl Franz bought 12 pairs in varying sizes hoping that one would fit. Luckily, one did, and the remaining boots were placed in the window of the family’s elastic and ribbon factory in Schönenwerd. Two years later, in 1851, Carl Franz importantly shifted his business to making shoes. #BallyAtoZ #BallyCreators ​ ​@abbey_lossing

Η υποδηματοποιία Bally ιδρύθηκε ως «Bally&Co» το 1851 από τον Καρλ Φραντς Μπάλι και τον αδελφό του Φριτς, στο υπόγειο της οικογενειακής τους κατοικίας στο Σένενβερντ της Ελβετίας.

Το 1854 δημιούργησαν ένα μικρό εργοστάσιο υποδημάτων στην ελβετική πόλη, αλλά ο Φριτς Μπάλι εγκατέλειψε την επιχείρηση και Καρλ Φραντς Μπάλι ίδρυσε την «C.F. Bally».

Στο εργοστάσιο κατασκευάστηκαν οι μπότες για την ομάδα της Ελβετίας που κέρδισε το χρυσό μετάλλιο στους Χειμερινούς Ολυμπιακούς το 1948 που διεξήχθησαν στη χώρα, αλλά και οι γούνινες μπότες πεζοπορίας που φορούσε ο Τενζίνγκ Νοργκάι, ο οποίος μαζί με τον Έντμουντ Χίλαρι κατέκτησε το υψηλότερο σημείο του όρους Έβερεστ το 1953.

Η εταιρεία δημιούργησε το δικό της κέντρο έρευνας και ανάπτυξης, «Bally Lab» το 1927, αφιερωμένο στη μελέτη καινοτόμων διαδικασιών παραγωγής δερμάτινων ειδών και τεχνικών χειροτεχνίας.
