Ο Giorgio Armani διοργανώνει την επίδειξη μόδας της φθινοπωρινής συλλογής του, στο πλαίσιο της Εβδομάδας Μόδας του Μιλάνο σήμερα, πίσω από κλειστές πόρτες «λόγω των τελευταίων εξελίξεων στην Ιταλία με τον κοροναϊό».

«Η επίδειξη μόδας θα κινηματογραφηθεί σε ένα άδειο θέατρο, χωρίς εκπροσώπους του Τύπου και αγοραστές» και όσοι ενδιαφέρονται θα μπορούν να την παρακολουθήσουν από την ιστοσελίδα του ιταλικού οίκου μόδας και τους λογαριασμούς του στο Facebook και στο Instagram στις 5 μ.μ. Ο κοροναϊός στις… πασαρέλες

Ο Ιταλός σχεδιαστής μόδας είχε προγραμματίσει δύο επιδείξεις μόδας, στις 4 μ.μ. και στις 5 μ.μ. στην έδρα του brand στη Via Bergognone, σήμερα τελευταία μέρα της Εβδομάδας Μόδας του Μιλάνο που άρχισε στις 19 Φεβρουαρίου.

«Η απόφαση ελήφθη για να αποφευχθεί η έκθεση των προσκεκλημένων σε οποιονδήποτε κίνδυνο για την υγεία τους» ανέφερε η εταιρεία.

Ο σχεδιαστής παρουσίασε τη φθινοπωρινή συλλογή της σειράς Emporio Armani την Παρασκευή.

Η Ιταλία σε καραντίνα

Λίγες ώρες νωρίτερα ανακοινώθηκε ότι η διεθνής εμπορική έκθεση οπτικών ειδών, Mido αναβάλλεται λόγω της αβεβαιότητας γύρω από την επιδημία του κοροναϊού στην Ιταλία. Η έκθεση θα διεξαγόταν από τις 29 Φεβρουαρίου έως τις 2 Μαρτίου στον εκθεσιακό χώρο Rho-Fiera στο Μιλάνο. Οι διοργανωτές ανακοίνωσαν όμως ότι η έκθεση θα διεξαχθεί στα τέλη Μαϊου ή στις αρχές Ιουνίου.

Σε περισσότερες από δέκα πόλεις στη βόρεια Ιταλία οι αρχές προχώρησαν σε απαγόρευση εισόδου -εξόδου μετά από τους θανάτους δύο ανθρώπων που μολύνθηκαν από τον νέο ιό από την Κίνα. Στο Μιλάνο πρωτεύουσα της περιφέρειας της Λομβαρδίας έχουν αναφερθεί 54 επιβεβαιωμένα κρούσματα.

Ο δήμαρχος του Μιλάνου στις 22 Φεβρουαρίου έκλεισε δημόσιες υπηρεσίες. Ωστόσο, οι επιδείξεις στην Εβδομάδα Μόδας του Μιλάνο συνεχίστηκαν και την τέταρτη ημέρα με το μεγαλύτερο μέρος του κόσμου να συζητά για την ταχεία εξάπλωση του ιού.

«Για την ώρα η κατάσταση είναι υπό έλεγχο», δήλωσε ο πρόεδρος του Ιταλικού Επιμελητηρίου Μόδας, Κάρλο Καπάζα προσθέτοντας ότι εξαρτάται από τους κυβερνητικούς αξιωματούχους ή τους οίκους μόδας να αποφασίσουν εάν χρειάζονται πρόσθετα μέτρα.
