Fashion Week has hit the streets of Sydney, Australia and, thanks to Dan Roberts of Vogue, we get a look into this years Resort fashion. Cool mornings and hot afternoons make outfit decisions very tricky and unforgiving this time of the year. We can see this obviously on display in Resort fashion, constructed to feel loose, flowing, and breathable while also covering you in enough fabric to protect against breezy mornings or brisk evenings. As we take a look at what’s going on in the Land Down Under we can see that flowing fabrics, and elegant gathers are a big staple in this year’s looks. For me personally, the first thing that comes to mind is “70’s meets evening wear”, and I really like what was produced out of the mix. The only thing missing were bell bottom jeans and some may even say that those are on the horizon as well! Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t but I guess time will tell, for now let’s just enjoy this weather and fashion before we totally concede to the blistering heat of summer!
