Ενα κοστούμι γεμάτο με υπογραφές σταρ του Χόλιγουντ!

Η βρετανίδα ενδυματολόγος, Σάντι Πάουελ το τελευταίο διάστημα πέρασε από αρκετές τελετές απονομής κινηματογραφικών βραβείων, BAFTA στην Αγγλία, Όσκαρ στις ΗΠΑ και από το Oscars Party του Vanity Fair.

Η Σάντι Πάουελ, γνωστή για το έργο της

στις ταινίες, The Favourite (Η Ευνοούμενη) και The Irishman (Ο Ιρλανδός), είχε μαζί της πακέτο με στυλό ζητώντας απ’ όλους τους διάσημους προσκεκλημένους να υπογράψουν στο ανοιχτόχρωμο κοστούμι που φορούσε σε κάθε event.

Η περιοδεία σε απονομές βραβείων ήταν ιδιαίτερα ξεχωριστή για την Πάουελ εξαιτίας του κοστουμιού, το οποίο κατέληξε να έχει αυτόγραφα από τους Μπραντ Πιτ, Λεονάρντο Ντι Κάπριο, Λόρα Ντερν, Ζανέλ Μονά και πολλούς άλλους.

Όπως γνωστοποίησε η ενδυματολόγος σκοπεύει να διοργανώσει δημοπρασία για έναν καλό σκοπό: Τα έσοδα θα διατεθούν στην εκστρατεία για να μετατραπεί το Prospect Cottage στην Αγγλία, κατοικία του εκλιπόντος σκηνοθέτη, Ντέρεκ Τζάρμαν, σε ένα κέντρο τέχνης για νέους καλλιτέχνης.

Η τρεις φορές βραβευμένη με Όσκαρ Σάντι Πάουελ ήταν φέτος υποψήφια για BAFTA και Όσκαρ και αποφάσισε να φορέσει το ίδιο κοστούμι που φόρεσε και στις περσινές τελετές απονομής και να συγκεντρώσει αυτόγραφα για να στηρίξει την πρωτοβουλία The Art Fund για το Prospect Cottage.

Η Πάουελ ανακάλυψε την τέχνη της ενδυματολογίας μέσω της μητέρας της, που έφτιαχνε όλα τα ρούχα της όσο μεγάλωνε και σπούδασε στο Central St. Martins στο Λονδίνο.

Παρά το γεγονός ότι εργάζεται στη βιομηχανία, η βρετανίδα ενδυματολόγος κάνει ό,τι μπορεί πίσω από την κάμερα για να ανακυκλώνει τα ρούχα – όχι μόνο επειδή είναι οικολογικά σωστό, αλλά απολαμβάνει να ανανεώνει παλιά κομμάτια.
