The Muraka: Μια υποθαλάσσια σουίτα στις Μαλδίβες

«Οι Μαλδίβες είναι γνωστές για την παρθένα παραλία και θάλασσα» υπογράμμισε, μιλώντας στο Dezeen, ο αρχιτέκτονας Γιούτζι Γιαμαζάκι, του οποίου το νεοϋορκέζικο αρχιτεκτονικό γραφείο συνεργάστηκε με τον ντόπιο αρχιτέκτονα Άχμεντ Σαλίμ στην κατασκευή της βίλας.

«Η θέα του ωκεανού κόβει την ανάσα. Αυτό είναι όμως η μισή ομορφιά των Μαλδίβων. Η άλλη μισή

υπάρχει μέσα στο νερό. Υπάρχει ένα οικοσύστημα κάτω από την επιφάνεια της θάλασσας που αξίζει να το δείξεις στους επισκέπτες χωρίς να τους υποχρεώσεις να καταδυθούν» πρόσθεσε.

Όπως αναφέρει το ΑΠΕ η βίλα «The Muraka» αποτελείται από έναν όροφο πάνω από το νερό, με κουζίνα, σαλόνι, τραπεζαρία και τρία υπνοδωμάτια.

Μία επιπλέον σουίτα με υπνοδωμάτιο είναι βυθισμένη στο νερό. Οι επισκέπτες φθάνουν με υδροπλάνο και μέσω μιας ξύλινης αποβάθρας μπαίνουν στον πάνω όροφο της βίλας.

Στριφογυριστή σκάλα με παράθυρα που βλέπουν στο νερό ή ανελκυστήρας οδηγεί στην υποβρύχια σουίτα.

Διάδρομος μεταξύ του λουτρού και δωματίου-ντουλάπας οδηγεί στο υπνοδωμάτιο και, δίπλα, στο καθιστικό.

It is connected by jetty to the Hilton’s Conrad Hotels Maldives Rangali Island resort in the Maldives. The experience costs $50,000 a night and the two-story structure cost $15 million to build. «Έχουμε την καμάρα στο υπνοδωμάτιο, όπου μπορείς να ξαπλώσεις και να κοιτάς τα ψάρια από πάνω σου. Έχουμε το καθιστικό με το καμπυλωτό γυαλί όπου μπορείς να σταθείς και σχεδόν να αισθανθείς ότι το νερό πρόκειται να σε συντρίψει και να σε κάνει μέρος της θάλασσας» εξήγησε ο αρχιτέκτονας Άχμεντ Σαλίμ.

«Και βεβαίως, στο λουτρό έχουμε αυτά τα πελώρια τζάμια που βλέπουν στο τίποτα και στα ψάρια».

Ο Σαλίμ υλοποίησε το πρότζεκτ «The Muraka» ως συνέχεια του «Ithaa», του υποθαλάσσιου εστιατορίου του θέρετρου.
